 In IELTS Kerala

• Pay attention to timing. Do not spend more than the prescribed time limit for each passage or section (not more than 20 minutes each).
• Look out for the title, headings, and any important components as Capital Letters, underlining, italics, pictures, graphs and tables etc.
• Ensure that you understand the questions and follow instructions carefully.
• Do not try to read each word, remember you are reading for a purpose.
• In case if you don’t know the answer, simply attempt it but don’t waste time by reading again and again. Move quickly onto the next item.
• Remember all the answers can be found in the reading text.
• The word or words you use must be taken from the text; you must not change the word form.
• Be careful inusing singular and plural and spelling correctly.
• Pay attention to the word limit.
• Attempt all questions, there are no negative marks or penalties for incorrect answers.
• It is recommended to Write your answers in CAPITALS in the answer box. Check your answers before finalising.
